Our Logo

Our logo is an emblem designed with streaks of Flames propelling a Tennis Ball.

Each of the five streaks of Flame represents the Five Founding Tennis Clubs and the colour Red depicts the Passion they each had, individually and collectively, for the Game of Tennis, represented here by the Tennis Ball.

The direction of movement of the tennis ball, travelling from the Right to the Left reflects upon the way the Chinese language is written.  In many ways Tennis is an established language in itself, understood by Sportsmen and Sportswomen the world over.

In the early days of Sydney, the Five Founding Tennis Clubs were all located in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, namely, Moore Park, Kensington, Kingsford, Maroubra and Paddington.  Nowadays the population of Sydney has grown spreading far and wide, and so has Tennis for members from the N.S.W. Chinese Tennis Association.  When you speak to some of our members, you will be able to find out more about our Tennis communities throughout the suburbs of greater Sydney, and you can be surprised to know there could be one close to the suburb where you live.
